Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy highly reliable, scalable, and secure backend services and APIs that power critical features for our global customer base.
Tackle complex engineering challenges related to data processing, real-time analytics, and secure information exchange.
Collaborate closely with product managers, front-end engineers, and other stakeholders to translate user needs into technical specifications and elegant solutions.
Champion best practices in software development, including code quality, testing, documentation, and operational excellence.
Actively participate in architectural discussions, contributing to the evolution of our backend infrastructure and technology stack.
Mentor junior engineers, sharing your expertise and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Ensure the performance, scalability, and maintainability of our backend systems, always considering the end-user experience.

Requirements

We're looking for someone who brings a solid foundation and a passion for impact:

Demonstrable experience, typically 5+ years, in backend software development, building and scaling complex applications.
Proficiency in at least one modern backend programming language such as Python, Go, Java, or Node.js.
Strong understanding of designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices.
Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
A proven track record of delivering high-quality, maintainable, and performant code in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a distributed team.
