Overview

As our Senior Software Engineer, you will hold the key technical position within one of our dynamic delivery pods. We are seeking a hands-on .NET engineer who will be fully accountable for everything their pod delivers. Your leadership will drive advancements across our evolving platform, which includes exciting work on microservices, a significant front-end replatforming initiative, and the deep integration of SimpliAI capabilities. You will directly own project scope, ensure superior code quality, guide agent output, and ultimately guarantee successful production outcomes for your team's efforts.

Key Responsibilities

Take full ownership of your pod's end-to-end delivery outcomes, encompassing thorough decomposition, strategic sequencing, keen awareness of dependencies, and the ultimate release process.
Commit to writing production-ready .NET code every single week. This includes developing robust services, designing efficient APIs, managing data access layers, and meticulously maintaining the less glamorous but equally vital parts of a mature codebase.
Integrate SimpliAI functionalities seamlessly into new product features. This involves developing sophisticated agentic workflows, implementing retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) solutions, performing structured data extraction, enabling powerful tool calling, and crafting intelligent model-backed behaviors, with evaluations and traces thoughtfully wired in from the very start.
Serve as the primary reviewer of record for your pod. This includes meticulously reviewing code produced by our agents. No code will be merged that a pod member cannot thoroughly defend, line by line.
Champion and run a streamlined Plan-and-Review cadence. This means creating clear written plans, articulating explicit assumptions, and making open questions visible to everyone well before any development work commences.
Oversee your pod’s effective utilization of our agent loop, known as Wright, and our delivery system, Conductor. You will establish critical guardrails and proactively escalate any significant failures to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

Significant professional experience as a Senior Software Engineer, demonstrating deep expertise in .NET development.
Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and drive end-to-end project delivery within a team setting.
Solid understanding and practical experience with modern software architecture patterns, including microservices.
Strong proficiency in building robust services, APIs, and data access layers.
Hands-on experience or a keen desire to work with advanced AI/ML integrations, such as agentic workflows, RAG, structured extraction, and tool calling.
Exceptional code review skills, with an unwavering commitment to quality and maintainability.
A proactive approach to planning, clear communication, and problem identification.
Ability to thrive in a fully remote, collaborative environment.
