Overview

This is a fantastic opportunity for a German speaking Senior Sales Engineer to become a pivotal part of Fivetran's Enterprise sales success. Your primary goal will be to demonstrate Fivetran's powerful data replication solutions, proving their value and alignment with customer objectives throughout the entire sales cycle. Key Responsibilities

Act as a trusted technical advisor, partnering with Enterprise Account Executives to identify and understand complex customer business needs and technical requirements.
Articulate the compelling value proposition of Fivetran's platform through tailored presentations, product demonstrations, and technical deep dives.
Design and execute successful Proof of Value (POV) engagements, ensuring customers experience firsthand how Fivetran solves their specific data challenges.
Provide expert guidance on Fivetran's integration with the broader modern data stack, including major cloud data warehouses and platforms.
Address technical inquiries, objections, and concerns with clarity and confidence, building strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Collaborate internally with product, engineering, and support teams to relay customer feedback and contribute to product enhancement.
Stay ahead of industry trends and Fivetran product updates to maintain a high level of technical expertise.

Requirements

Fluency in German and English is essential for engaging with our Enterprise customers.
Significant experience as a Sales Engineer or Solutions Architect, specifically within the Enterprise market, selling SaaS or data-related technologies.
Proven ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
Strong understanding of the modern data stack, including cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks), cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), and ETL/ELT concepts.
Experience with scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, Java) for demonstration or technical validation purposes.
Exceptional presentation and communication skills, capable of explaining intricate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a passion for helping customers achieve their data goals.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
