Overview

Grüns is on the lookout for a dedicated Senior Retail Operations Specialist to take the helm of our daily retail fulfillment engine. In this pivotal role, you will be the linchpin connecting internal operations, our 3PL partners, and crucial retail accounts. Your mission will involve proactively managing inventory and ensuring an "on time, in full" (OTIF) delivery performance that not only protects revenue but also strengthens our valuable retail partnerships. You will play a critical part in identifying and resolving potential issues before they escalate into costly problems, enabling Grüns' retail business to scale efficiently and cleanly. This is a fully remote, worldwide opportunity, allowing you to contribute from wherever you thrive best. You will report directly to our experienced Director of Retail Operations. Although we operate with a high-trust, remote work environment, we also love coming together in person at our amazing biannual off-sites to connect and collaborate.

Key Responsibilities

Take ownership of day-to-day retail order fulfillment, diligently monitoring and quickly resolving any "where's my product" inquiries before they lead to late or incomplete shipments.
Proactively manage base inventory levels, anticipating potential shortages and flagging risks well in advance of orders being impacted.
Accurately and punctually process new retail orders, ensuring a seamless flow of products without disruptions.
Act as a key liaison between our internal operations teams, third-party logistics providers, and retail accounts, fostering strong communication and collaboration.
Implement strategies to maintain and improve "on time, in full" (OTIF) performance metrics, ensuring top-tier service for our retail partners.
Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies within the retail supply chain and propose effective solutions for continuous improvement.
Contribute to the development and refinement of operational procedures to support Grüns' scaling retail business.

Requirements

Proven experience in a retail operations, supply chain, or logistics role, ideally within a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated ability to manage and resolve complex fulfillment and inventory challenges.
Strong understanding of retail supply chain dynamics, including 3PL relationships and inventory management principles.
Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with various stakeholders.
A proactive mindset, capable of anticipating issues and taking initiative to prevent problems.
Comfortable working independently in a remote setting while also collaborating effectively with a distributed team.
Proficiency with relevant software tools for order management, inventory tracking, and communication.
