Key Responsibilities

Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive regulatory compliance programs across various jurisdictions.
Continuously monitor changes in global financial regulations, advising leadership and relevant teams on potential impacts and necessary adjustments.
Serve as a primary point of contact for regulatory inquiries, examinations, and audits, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
Design and deliver targeted training sessions to internal stakeholders on compliance policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify, evaluate, and mitigate compliance risks associated with new and existing products and services.
Collaborate closely with legal, product, engineering, and business development teams to embed compliance by design into all operations.
Develop and maintain robust internal policies, procedures, and controls to ensure adherence to applicable laws, rules, and standards.

Requirements

Significant hands-on experience in regulatory compliance within the financial services or FinTech sectors, with a strong focus on digital assets or payments.
Deep expertise in relevant global financial regulations, including but not limited to BSA, AML, OFAC, and consumer protection laws.
Proven track record of successfully managing complex regulatory projects and interacting effectively with regulatory bodies.
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities with a keen eye for detail.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, capable of translating complex regulatory requirements into clear, actionable guidance.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and stakeholders.
A bachelor’s degree in law, finance, business, or a related field; relevant professional certifications are a strong plus.
Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote, distributed team setting.
