The Role
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will serve as a critical link in the success of our construction projects. You will be responsible for overseeing the financial and contractual aspects of our developments, ensuring that every project is executed within budget, according to schedule, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare precise cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documentation.
- Lead bidding and negotiation processes with suppliers and subcontractors to drive cost-efficiency.
- Monitor project budgets, perform cost forecasting, and maintain rigorous financial records.
- Collaborate with design teams to review architectural and MEP drawings, ensuring alignment between project specifications and contract conditions.
- Advise on risk management and procurement strategies to maximize project value.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Experience: A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in quantity surveying, with a solid track record in both residential and commercial projects.
- Certification: Active membership in relevant professional quantity surveying or construction bodies.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in quantity takeoff tools, BIM, and advanced surveying software.
- Domain Knowledge: Solid understanding of the National Building Code (NBC), ANSI/ASHRAE, and LEED standards.
