Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust web scraping solutions.
- Implement advanced data extraction techniques from diverse web sources.
- Process and clean large datasets to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Utilize tools like Apify, OpenRouter, and other industry-leading technologies.
- Develop custom scraping scripts and frameworks when off-the-shelf solutions aren't enough.
- Ensure data quality, reliability, and integrity throughout the extraction process.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex scraping challenges, including anti-bot measures and dynamic content.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver targeted results.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior Python Data Scraping Engineer.
- Extensive hands-on experience with web scraping, data extraction, and data processing.
- Strong proficiency in Python and relevant scraping libraries like Scrapy, BeautifulSoup, Selenium, or Playwright.
- Familiarity with anti-bot detection and circumvention techniques.
- Experience with various data storage formats and databases.
- Ability to work independently and manage project deadlines effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with cloud platforms and distributed scraping architectures is a plus.
- Familiarity with tools such as Apify and OpenRouter is highly desirable.
