Because we are bootstrapped and proudly profitable, we answer only to our customers rather than outside investors. We operate as a 120-person team working 100 percent remotely, driven by a shared mission to make sure no small business fails due to a broken sales process. We are now searching for our very first dedicated Product Security Engineer to help us protect this ecosystem.

This is a 100 percent remote position open exclusively to candidates based in the USA. You will step into a unique opportunity to shape the security posture of a fast-growing product used by thousands of companies every single day.

Key Responsibilities

Embed security best practices directly into our software development lifecycle across Python backend services, TypeScript and React frontends, and public APIs.
Partner closely with our engineering, infrastructure, and trust teams to unify security ownership and drive meaningful improvements.
Perform threat modeling, security code reviews, and vulnerability assessments for new features and AI-driven capabilities.
Build automated security tooling and guardrails that empower engineers to ship secure code quickly without unnecessary friction.
Guide our engineering organization on secure coding standards and proactive defense strategies.

Requirements

Proven professional experience in product security, application security, or software engineering with a heavy security focus.
Strong working knowledge of modern web application vulnerabilities, secure coding principles, and mitigation strategies.
Familiarity with Python, TypeScript, React, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure on AWS.
An ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex security concepts in clear, practical terms.
A passion for building pragmatic security solutions that scale alongside a fast-growing product.
