Key Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end design and development of next-generation patient care products, overseeing the process from conceptualization through to production.
Translate diverse inputs, including caregiver feedback, comprehensive customer reviews, and competitive market insights, into innovative product solutions.
Develop profitable and manufacturable designs that prioritize exceptional ergonomics, intuitive usability, and meticulous functional detail.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility, manufacturability, and alignment with business objectives.
Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify unmet user needs and market opportunities within the HME/DME space.
Create detailed design specifications, prototypes, and production-ready files.
Champion a user-centered design approach throughout all stages of product development.

Requirements

Proven track record as a Senior Product Designer or Industrial Designer, ideally with extensive experience in the medical, patient care, or similar regulated product sectors.
A robust portfolio showcasing successful product launches from concept to production, emphasizing strong design thinking, ergonomic considerations, and user-centric solutions.
Expertise in translating complex user needs and technical specifications into elegant, manufacturable product designs.
Deep understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and design for manufacturability (DFM).
Exceptional proficiency with industry-standard design software (e.g., SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Rhino, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design rationale clearly to diverse stakeholders.
Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, remote environment.
