Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Product Designer focusing on Growth at Vercel, you will hold a pivotal role in shaping our self-serve product experience. Your contributions will directly influence critical stages of the user journey, including:

Defining the end-to-end self-serve experience: From initial signup and comprehensive onboarding, through a user's first project and successful deployment.
Optimizing adoption and conversion: Strategically designing features that encourage deeper engagement and successful transitions to paid tiers.
Fostering expansion and retention: Innovating ways for users to discover more value, grow their usage, and remain loyal to the Vercel platform.
Bridging human and agentic interactions: Designing intuitive interfaces and experiences that seamlessly integrate interactions between people and intelligent agents, as well as the handoffs between them.
Collaborating cross-functionally: Working in close partnership with our Growth Product, Engineering, and Data teams to identify opportunities, validate hypotheses, and deliver impactful solutions.
Driving design strategy: Contributing to the overall growth design vision, bringing your expertise and unique perspective to complex challenges, and exercising significant authority with full team support.

Requirements

Extensive Product Design Experience: You possess at least 5+ years of professional product design experience, with a significant portion dedicated to growth or developer-facing products.
Growth-Focused Mindset: A proven track record of designing successful experiences that have driven user acquisition, activation, retention, and monetization.
Strong UX/UI Craft: Demonstrated expertise in user research, information architecture, interaction design, visual design, and prototyping tools.
Data-Informed Approach: You are comfortable leveraging quantitative and qualitative data to inform design decisions, validate hypotheses, and measure impact.
Technical Empathy: A genuine understanding of developer workflows and the challenges they face, enabling you to design truly empowering solutions.
