Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end design: Drive the design process for critical member-facing medical benefits experiences across Humana's digital platforms.
Simplify complexity: Translate intricate benefits information and healthcare processes into intuitive, user-friendly designs that empower members.
Champion user-centered design: Advocate for and implement user research, testing, and feedback loops to ensure designs meet real member needs and solve their challenges effectively.
Collaborate extensively: Work hand-in-hand with product managers to define strategy, engineers to ensure feasibility, and researchers to gather insights, alongside other business partners.
Deliver high-quality outputs: Produce a range of design deliverables including user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups with meticulous attention to detail.
Drive measurable outcomes: Design solutions that contribute to improved member satisfaction, increased engagement, greater operational efficiency, and a better overall healthcare journey.
Uphold design consistency: Ensure designs align with Humana's brand guidelines and design system, promoting a cohesive user experience across all touchpoints.

Requirements

A bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
More than 5 years of professional experience in product design, UX/UI design, or a similar role, ideally within a complex digital product environment.
A strong portfolio showcasing a robust understanding of user-centered design principles, successful digital product launches, and your ability to solve complex problems with elegant solutions.
Demonstrated experience in designing intuitive, engaging experiences for web and mobile platforms.
Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, capable of articulating design decisions and collaborating effectively with diverse teams.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and fully remote work environment.
