Key Responsibilities

In this high-impact role, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle management of rotating equipment. Your daily contributions will include:

• Design & Specification: Defining technical requirements for pumps, compressors, turbines, motors, gearboxes, and blowers.
• Technical Oversight: Preparing datasheets, material requisitions, and conducting rigorous technical bid evaluations.
• Project Lifecycle Support: Providing expertise from FEED and detailed engineering through to construction, commissioning, and final start-up.
• Compliance & Quality: Ensuring all designs strictly adhere to international standards including API, ASME, ISO, ANSI, and NACE.
• Operational Excellence: Leading Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs), Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA), and reliability improvement initiatives.
• Collaboration & Leadership: Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and contractors while mentoring junior engineers to foster a culture of growth and HSE excellence.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 15 years of comprehensive mechanical design experience within the oil & gas industry.
• A minimum of 10 years of specialized experience specifically in rotating equipment design.
• Demonstrated expertise in FEED, Detailed Engineering, and EPC projects in both Greenfield and Brownfield environments.
• Technical proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Plant 3D, AVEVA E3D, Smart 3D, and Navisworks.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and project coordination skills.
