As our Senior Manager of Search and Discoverability at Penn Foster, you will guide our presence across every corner of this changing landscape. This is a fully remote, worldwide opportunity where your strategic vision will help learners discover flexible education programs that fit their goals.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will lead the evolution of our discovery channels and shape how future students connect with our programs. Your core responsibilities include the following

Build and direct an integrated search approach spanning paid search, AI discovery engines, LLM ecosystems, and emerging social platforms.
Own the entire paid search performance engine, from account architecture and bidding structures to audience segmentation and budget allocation.
Partner closely with organic search colleagues so paid campaigns and organic visibility reinforce each other seamlessly.
Experiment continuously with discovery platforms such as Reddit and generative answer engines to capture student intent early.
Monitor multi channel performance, analyze student research behaviors, and translate high volume data into clear business outcomes.

Requirements

We are seeking someone who blends high level strategic thinking with practical paid search mastery. You will likely thrive in this position if you bring these skills and experiences

Proven leadership experience managing enterprise scale paid search accounts and substantial media budgets.
Deep curiosity about modern search habits, particularly how generative AI, forums, and answer engines influence user decisions.
Strong technical grasp of campaign structures, modern bidding algorithms, attribution modeling, and search analytics.
Track record of partnering with content creators, SEO specialists, and product teams to drive holistic discoverability.
Superb communication skills and the self motivation needed to thrive within a distributed global workforce.
