Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership: Develop, champion, and execute a comprehensive strategy for endpoint security and trusted environments across Circle's global infrastructure.
Team Management: Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of security engineers and specialists, fostering their professional growth and ensuring operational excellence.
Technical Vision: Drive the selection, implementation, and optimization of cutting-edge endpoint security tools and technologies, including MDM, EDR, identity solutions, and access controls.
Policy and Governance: Establish and enforce robust security policies, standards, and procedures for all endpoints, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to endpoint vulnerabilities, constantly evolving our defenses against emerging threats.
Incident Response: Collaborate closely with incident response teams to investigate and resolve security incidents effectively, minimizing impact and preventing recurrence.
Cross Functional Collaboration: Partner with IT, engineering, and other security teams to integrate endpoint security seamlessly into the broader security architecture and development lifecycle.
Innovation and Improvement: Continuously research new threats, technologies, and methodologies to enhance our security posture and maintain a future forward approach to trusted environments.

Requirements

Extensive experience in endpoint security, systems management, or a closely related field, with a proven track record of leadership in a global enterprise environment.
Demonstrated experience managing and scaling security teams, including hiring, performance management, and career development.
Deep technical expertise in a wide array of endpoint security technologies and platforms, such as Mobile Device Management (MDM), Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Identity and Access Management (IAM), and vulnerability management.
Strong understanding of operating systems (macOS, Windows, Linux) and cloud environments from a security perspective.
Familiarity with compliance frameworks like ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, and other relevant financial industry regulations.
Exceptional analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills, especially under pressure.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of articulating complex security concepts to both technical and non technical audiences.
A proactive, strategic mindset with the ability to anticipate threats and build resilient security solutions.
