Overview

Are you a seasoned leader passionate about driving complex software solutions from concept to delivery? Gainwell is actively searching for a Senior Manager Application Delivery, also known as our Module Delivery Lead, to spearhead the end-to-end delivery of critical Pharmacy product solutions. This pivotal role involves leading a dedicated development team, ensuring seamless execution across a diverse and expanding client base. You will manage multiple Pharmacy solutions, including Point of Sale, Prior Authorization, Online Portal, and Preferred Drug List within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Your leadership will be crucial in overseeing production support, orchestrating timely upgrades, and managing new implementations for these vital applications. This is a fully remote opportunity open to talent globally.

Key Responsibilities

In this impactful role, you will be expected to:

Provide exceptional leadership and technical guidance to your development team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
Drive and own the end-to-end delivery lifecycle for assigned Pharmacy product modules, ensuring solutions meet business objectives and quality standards.
Strategically plan, execute, and oversee the expansion of offshore development capabilities, integrating teams effectively into delivery processes.
Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure on-time and within-scope delivery of product enhancements and new features.
Collaborate closely with product owners, stakeholders, and clients to understand requirements and translate them into actionable development plans.
Oversee comprehensive production support activities, ensuring high availability and performance of critical Pharmacy solutions.
Lead the planning and implementation of system upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum benefit.
Ensure adherence to best practices in software development, quality assurance, and security protocols.
Mentor and develop team members, helping them grow their technical skills and career paths within Gainwell.
Communicate project status, risks, and mitigation strategies clearly to senior leadership and relevant stakeholders.

Requirements

We are looking for a visionary leader with a proven track record. Ideal candidates will possess:

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in software development and application delivery, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
Demonstrated experience leading and managing development teams, including experience with offshore models.
Strong understanding and experience with the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
Proven expertise in delivering complex enterprise-level software solutions, ideally within the healthcare or pharmacy benefits management sector.
Technical proficiency in modern development stacks and architectural patterns.
Exceptional problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills.
Superior verbal and written communication abilities, with a knack for engaging effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
