Minimum Requirements and Qualifications
To be considered for this prestigious academic position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Must possess the qualifications prescribed by the National Universities Commission (NUC) and relevant professional regulatory bodies for the engineering discipline.
- Possess a relevant postgraduate qualification (Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or a closely related field is highly preferred).
- Must be duly registered and licensed by the appropriate professional regulatory body (e.g., Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria - COREN).
- Show clear evidence of significant teaching, research, or laboratory experience at the university level.
- Have a demonstrable track record of academic publications in recognized national and international journals.
- Note: While a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree is an added advantage for medicine and surgery programmes, this specific position requires standard regulatory requirements relevant to Engineering.
