This is a fully remote, long term contract position, open to candidates worldwide. We are particularly looking for individuals who can align their work hours with the Manila timezone, ensuring seamless collaboration with global teams. Fluency in English is essential for clear and effective communication in our diverse environment.

Key Responsibilities

Craft robust, maintainable solutions using Object Oriented design principles and proven software design patterns.
Translate detailed application designs provided by System or Solution Architects into high quality, functional code.
Uphold stringent version control standards, build processes, release procedures, and coding best practices.
Actively participate in design and code walk throughs, embracing feedback to refine and enhance design and code artefacts.
Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all development tasks, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
Collaborate closely with team members to identify and mitigate potential risks in application design and delivery.
Execute thorough unit and integration tests, diligently resolving any resulting issues or bugs to ensure software quality.
Partner with architects to develop sophisticated business systems utilizing the robust JAVA/J2EE framework.
Communicate project status, emerging issues, and potential risk factors clearly to all relevant project team members.
Provide ongoing maintenance and technical support for developed applications.

Requirements

To excel in this Senior Java Developer role, you should possess:

Extensive professional experience, typically 5+ years, in Java development, particularly with the JAVA/J2EE framework.
Demonstrated proficiency in Object Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and common software design patterns.
Solid understanding and practical application of version control systems, especially Git, along with build and release processes.
Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining complex business systems.
