At Flex, we are rethinking the way business owners interact with their finances by building a true AI-native private bank. We took off publicly in late 2023 and have already climbed from zero to nine figures in annualized revenue. We move quickly, value extreme ownership, and solve real problems for businesses turning over millions of dollars every year. To sustain this momentum across our fast-moving workforce, we are looking for a Senior IT and Corporate Engineering professional to architect and elevate our internal technical ecosystem. This is a fully remote, worldwide opportunity that gives you the freedom to make a tangible global impact from wherever you do your best work.
Overview
As our Senior IT and Corporate Engineer, you will own the systems, tools, and identity foundations that empower our team to ship safely and quickly. You will not merely manage tickets or run routine setups. Instead, you will treat corporate technology as a first-class engineering domain, writing automations, tightening zero-trust access controls, and designing resilient infrastructure that scales gracefully alongside our hyper-growth business.
Key Responsibilities
Your day-to-day focus will center on building reliable internal systems and raising productivity across the company.
- Architect, automate, and scale our corporate infrastructure, SaaS tooling, and identity access management platforms.
- Implement seamless onboarding and offboarding workflows that integrate identity providers, endpoint management, and access controls.
- Enforce robust security baselines across all corporate hardware and cloud services without slowing down team velocity.
- Partner with security and compliance teams to ensure strict adherence to industry standards, audit readiness, and data protection policies.
- Automate repetitive IT tasks using modern scripting languages and API integrations.
- Serve as the escalation point for complex technical issues, troubleshooting hardware, networking, and software challenges with empathy and precision.
Requirements
We are searching for someone who pairs deep technical chops with proactive problem-solving instincts.
- Extensive background in corporate engineering, systems administration, or modern IT operations within a high-growth tech environment.
- Proven expertise managing identity providers like Okta or Google Workspace, alongside modern MDM platforms such as Jamf, Kandji, or Intune.
- Strong scripting capabilities in Python, Bash, or similar languages to automate corporate workflows and API integrations.
- Deep understanding of enterprise security concepts, zero-trust architectures, and role-based access controls.
- Demonstrated experience collaborating with distributed teams across multiple time zones.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical partners.
What You'll Gain
Joining Flex means taking a front-row seat at one of the fastest-growing financial technology companies in the industry.
- The rare chance to shape the corporate engineering culture and technical stack from the ground up.
- A fully remote work environment that grants you genuine flexibility and ownership of your schedule worldwide.
- Close collaboration with high-caliber operators who value velocity, craft, and radical transparency.
- Competitive compensation along with the internal tools and resources you need to perform at the highest level.
