In this role, you will lead the evolution of our search algorithms, discovery workflows, and matching engines to ensure every user finds the right companion quickly and seamlessly.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and scale end to end search and discovery features across our web and mobile applications.
- Integrate modern artificial intelligence and machine learning models to improve pet matching relevancy.
- Optimize backend search infrastructure for lightning fast query performance and high availability.
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and data teams to translate user behavior into powerful product features.
- Write clean, maintainable code and drive engineering best practices across the entire technology stack.
Requirements
- Extensive professional experience as a fullstack engineer building high traffic consumer web applications.
- Deep expertise in modern frontend frameworks and robust backend technologies.
- Proven background working with search engines and data retrieval systems.
- Strong curiosity about artificial intelligence and practical experience applying it to search or recommendation problems.
