Right now, our software and infrastructure group needs a Senior Platform Security and Reliability Engineer to step up and take ownership of our security and reliability posture. This is a fully remote role open to candidates worldwide where you will act as a key individual contributor building the controls, automation, and recovery mechanisms that keep our cloud and high performance computing environments running smoothly and securely.

Overview

In this hands-on position, you will set the technical direction for platform security controls across major cloud providers like AWS and Google Cloud. You will work closely with our design, research, and development organizations to ensure their infrastructure is resilient, defensible, and built to scale.

Key Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end security baseline and reliability posture for our cloud and high performance computing platforms.
Build and maintain robust controls, automation scripts, and disaster recovery mechanisms.
Establish clear technical direction for identity and security management across AWS and Google Cloud environments.
Collaborate directly with engineering teams to anticipate potential bottlenecks and proactively harden infrastructure.
