Overview

This crucial role involves strategic operational planning and ensuring peak clinical operational performance within our Hematology franchise. You will leverage your extensive therapeutic area knowledge, exceptional global program management skills, and a truly borderless leadership style. Serving as the primary escalation point for program issues, you will drive success across all associated Hematology programs. This position also participates in shaping the strategy for GCO P&SM as a valued member of the leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the Global Clinical Program Lead (GCPL) and Global Clinical Study Manager (gCSM) groups within the designated Hematology therapeutic area.
Provide inspirational leadership and feedback-oriented mentorship to GCPLs and gCSMs, actively fostering their professional growth and talent development.
Facilitate proactive risk and issue management across all clinical programs within the Hematology franchise.
Oversee strategic operational planning and overall clinical operational performance for the Hematology portfolio.
Act as the primary point of escalation for resolution of issues concerning associated programs in the Hematology franchise.
Contribute significantly to shaping the Global Clinical Operations (GCO) P&SM strategy as a member of the leadership team.
Ensure the successful delivery of clinical trials and programs, meeting strategic objectives and timelines.
Drive a global perspective and demonstrate borderless leadership across all aspects of clinical operations.

Requirements

Significant proven experience in global clinical operations leadership, specifically within the Hematology therapeutic area.
Demonstrated success in managing and leading global clinical operations teams and complex programs.
Deep therapeutic area expertise and understanding of asset development in Hematology.
Strong global program management capabilities, including strategic planning and execution.
A track record of providing inspirational leadership and effectively developing team talent.
Expertise in proactive risk identification and comprehensive issue management within clinical trials.
Proven ability to contribute to and influence strategic planning at a senior leadership level.
A highly motivated, collaborative professional with a genuine passion for fighting cancer.
