Role Overview

As a Senior Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the design, analysis, and execution of world-class civil and structural projects. This is a senior-level position designed for a seasoned engineer with a deep understanding of industrial buildings and water-retaining structures. You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure that all engineering deliverables adhere to the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Project Alignment & Collaboration: Coordinate closely with user departments to gather essential design inputs, aligning project specifications with organizational goals.
Structural Design & Review: Prepare, review, and approve structural designs, complex engineering calculations, and detailed vendor drawings.
Project Monitoring & Site Support: Monitor on-site project progress and provide critical technical support to guarantee smooth execution and alignment with design drawings.
Cost Estimation: Assist in preliminary cost estimation and material take-offs to support project budgeting.
Engineering Documentation: Deliver and review Front End Engineering Design (FEED) and Detailed Engineering documentation, ensuring robust project records are maintained.

Requirements & Qualifications

To be successful in this challenging and rewarding role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Education: Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) or Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Civil Engineering.
Experience: 10 to 15 years of proven hands-on experience, specifically within Water Retaining structures and Industrial Buildings. This hands-on experience is an absolute must-have.
Certifications: Relevant professional engineering certifications are highly desirable.

Technical & Functional Competencies

Candidates must demonstrate advanced proficiency in the following areas:

Expert-level structural design and engineering analysis.
Familiarity with FEED and Detailed Engineering phases.
Solid experience in analyzing vendor drawings and coordinating complex projects.
Proficiency in specialized software, including STAAD.Pro, Foundation 3D, and AutoCAD, alongside Finite Element Method (FEM) analysis for mat foundations.
