We are currently looking for a Senior Database Reliability Engineer to join our growing Database Operations team on a fully remote basis worldwide. In this role, you will take ownership of the performance, integrity, security, and availability of our PostgreSQL databases running on Linux inside AWS. Key Responsibilities

Administer, monitor, and maintain large scale PostgreSQL databases exceeding 250GB in production environments across AWS RDS, Aurora, and EC2.
Guarantee high database availability, optimal performance, and robust data integrity through proactive monitoring and continuous maintenance.
Perform routine database administration tasks including patching, major upgrades, vacuuming, reindexing, and careful statistics management.
Execute and manage critical operational workflows to ensure seamless data reliability across all company environments.

Requirements

Extensive hands-on professional experience administering PostgreSQL databases in high traffic production environments.
Deep working knowledge of AWS infrastructure services such as RDS, Aurora, and EC2 running on Linux operating systems.
A strong background in troubleshooting complex performance bottlenecks, optimizing queries, and ensuring high availability.
Familiarity with modern AI tools and a strong willingness to embrace AI fluency in your daily workflow.
