Overview
As a Senior Data Platform Engineer, you will design, build, and scale our core data infrastructure. You will work alongside brilliant engineers, researchers, and clinicians to ensure our data pipelines are lightning-fast, highly secure, and reliable. Your work directly empowers our frontier AI models to deliver real-time treatment and medical reasoning for over a million members globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust distributed data pipelines and scalable data lakes.
- Partner with machine learning teams to optimize data ingestion and feature stores for AI model training.
- Ensure data governance, privacy, and compliance across all systems supporting our multi-specialty care programs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex data architecture bottlenecks to guarantee high availability.
- Mentor junior engineers and champion best practices in data engineering across the organization.
Requirements
- Strong background in building large-scale data platforms using modern cloud technologies.
- Expertise in programming languages such as Python or Scala.
- Deep experience with distributed data processing frameworks like Spark, Kafka, or Flink.
- Proven track record of managing data warehouses and data lakes in production environments.
