As a Senior Customer Engineer at Collibra, you step into a highly respected and essential role within our sales organization. This position involves a comprehensive engagement with clients, spanning both pre sales and post sales phases, making you a consistent, knowledgeable resource throughout their evolution with our data intelligence offerings. Skillfully map Collibra’s solutions to tangible value across large, dynamic organizations, effectively translating intricate business needs into robust technical requirements.
Proactively engage in discovery conversations and meticulously qualify new opportunities, ensuring alignment with our strategic goals and customer success.
Prepare and deliver compelling product demonstrations that powerfully illustrate how Collibra’s Platform expertly addresses the unique and evolving needs of our enterprise customers.
Provide expert technical advice and dedicated support to customers, guiding them through implementation, optimization, and ongoing success with Collibra.
Cultivate strong, trusted relationships with key stakeholders, serving as their primary technical point of contact and an invaluable resource.
Collaborate closely with sales, product, and engineering teams, contributing vital customer feedback to shape future product development.

Requirements

Demonstrable experience, typically 5 or more years, in a pre sales or post sales technical role within enterprise software, ideally focused on data governance, data management, or business intelligence platforms.
Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise business value for diverse audiences.
Exceptional presentation and communication skills, adept at conducting engaging product demonstrations and leading technical discussions.
Strong problem solving abilities with a knack for understanding customer challenges and proposing effective solutions.
A deep understanding of the data landscape, including concepts like data cataloging, data lineage, data quality, and data privacy.
Experience working with large, complex organizations and navigating their unique technical and business environments.
Comfortable working autonomously in a remote setting while also collaborating effectively with a globally distributed team.
