Overview

As a Senior Cloud Solutions Engineer at Humana, you will be instrumental in implementing our enterprise cloud strategy from a technical viewpoint. This involves crucial design, planning, integration, and maintenance work for our vital big data solutions built upon Microsoft Azure. You'll engage directly in the hands-on development of our cloud-based applications, guiding our innovation in the digital data landscape. Key Responsibilities

Evaluate cloud systems and pinpoint appropriate solutions by collaborating with stakeholders across the organization.
Partner with product managers and fellow engineers, together developing specifications for innovative cloud products, services, applications, and solutions.
Drive the successful rollout of cloud migration and adoption initiatives within the organization.
Actively participate in the architectural design and hands-on development of scalable, cloud-native applications and solutions.

Requirements

Proven professional experience in designing, developing, and deploying cloud solutions, particularly within big data environments.
Deep expertise with Microsoft Azure services, including but not limited to Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, Azure Databricks, Azure Functions, Azure DevOps, and other relevant PaaS/IaaS offerings.
Strong analytical skills, capable of evaluating complex situations and data to formulate effective solutions.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
A track record of taking initiative and driving projects from conception to completion.
