Key Responsibilities

Lead the fortification of our AWS cloud infrastructure and services.
Drive vulnerability management efforts, with a strong focus on utilizing Wiz.
Collaborate closely with DevOps, Engineering, and Application Security teams to design and implement preventative security controls.
Develop and implement security best practices across infrastructure, identity and access management (IAM), and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
Perform hands-on configuration of security tools and systems.
Conduct security architecture reviews and provide expert guidance.
Actively harden software development pipelines, ensuring security is embedded from inception.
Provide support for application security initiatives as required.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Senior Security Engineer or a similar role, specifically focused on cloud security.
Deep expertise in AWS security services and best practices.
Hands-on experience with vulnerability management platforms, particularly Wiz.
Strong understanding of security principles across infrastructure, identity, and CI/CD.
Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with engineering and DevOps teams.
Proficiency in configuring security tooling and reviewing system architectures.
Solid grasp of application security concepts.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to security challenges.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote, fast-paced environment.
