About the Role
As a Senior Civil Engineer at Dangote Cement Plc, you will be at the forefront of operational excellence. Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning & Execution: Lead civil engineering projects across various departments, from design to final implementation.
- Technical Design: Utilize AutoCAD and Civil 3D to carry out complex structural analyses and detailed infrastructure plans.
- Infrastructure Development: Oversee the design and construction of internal road networks and advanced drainage systems.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all projects adhere to zoning laws, environmental regulations, and local building codes.
- Maintenance & Reliability: Manage maintenance logs, track equipment history, and implement strategies to reduce downtime and optimize operational costs.
- Leadership: Provide mentorship and on-the-job training to junior staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and safety.
Who You Are
We are looking for a candidate who brings a wealth of experience and a proactive approach to engineering challenges. You should possess:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of nine (9) years of professional experience in the industry.
- Advanced proficiency in design software, structural analysis, and cost estimation.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve operational issues effectively.
