Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain robust backend services using Ruby on Rails.
- Optimize application performance to handle heavy data loads and ensure high availability.
- Collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, and stakeholders to translate user needs into technical solutions.
- Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
- Mentor junior engineers and actively participate in code reviews to elevate the entire team.
Requirements
- Strong professional experience building production-grade web applications with Ruby on Rails.
- Deep understanding of database design, particularly with PostgreSQL.
- Proven track record of designing scalable RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Comfort working asynchronously in a fully remote environment across different time zones.
