Overview

We are searching for an experienced Senior Backend Engineer to join our Backend Platform team. You will help scale the infrastructure powering our communication-first CRM. This is a 100 percent remote position available strictly for candidates residing in the United States, and it is open as a worldwide opportunity for our global team culture where you can work from anywhere within the country.

Our Tech Stack

Our applications rely heavily on Python Flask web apps combined with TaskTiger for asynchronous task processing. Our data layer utilizes MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, and Redis. We run on AWS infrastructure leveraging managed services like EKS, MSK, RDS, and ElastiCache alongside EC2 instances. Our robust CI/CD pipelines build Docker images, run automated test suites, and deploy directly to Kubernetes clusters.

Key Responsibilities

Architect, build, and scale reliable backend services that support rapid feature development and AI integrations.
Optimize database performance and asynchronous job processing across MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Redis.
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to design resilient APIs and infrastructure.
Maintain and improve our AWS infrastructure, Kubernetes deployments, and CI/CD pipelines.
Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews to uphold high engineering standards.

Requirements

Extensive professional backend software engineering experience with Python and modern web frameworks.
Strong background working with distributed data stores and search engines like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, and Redis.
Hands-on experience managing AWS infrastructure, Docker, and Kubernetes clusters in production environments.
A passion for writing robust tests and maintaining high code quality.
Strong communication skills and a self-driven, remote-first work ethic.
