Overview

As a Senior or Lead Cloud Engineer in Infrastructure with TASQ Staffing Solutions, you'll play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing robust cloud solutions focused on Microsoft Azure. Our global collaboration with Microsoft means you'll consistently engage with innovative projects and gain unparalleled exposure to the very teams developing the Azure platform. This fully remote position offers the flexibility of working from anywhere, though candidates comfortable with a 5 PM to 2 AM PHT (Philippine Time) schedule will find it particularly suitable. You'll contribute to an environment dedicated to technical excellence and client satisfaction, growing your skills in a truly impactful way.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and resilient Azure infrastructure solutions.
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform and Bicep.
Manage and optimize Azure services including networking, storage, security, and databases.
Implement and oversee Azure DevOps pipelines for continuous integration and delivery.
Monitor and troubleshoot cloud environments using Azure Log Analytics (KQL) and Application Insights.
Ensure robust disaster recovery and backup strategies are in place with Azure Site Recovery and Azure Backup.
Provide expert guidance on Azure best practices and contribute to architectural discussions.
Collaborate closely with internal teams and clients to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.

Requirements

To excel in this position, you should bring a strong background in Azure infrastructure and possess:

Proven experience as a Senior or Lead Cloud Engineer with a deep focus on Microsoft Azure.
Extensive hands-on experience with Azure services including Azure Networking, Azure Storage, and Azure Security.
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools like Terraform and Bicep.
Solid understanding and practical application of Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with monitoring tools such as Azure Log Analytics (KQL) and Application Insights.
Familiarity with Azure Site Recovery and Azure Backup for business continuity.
Expertise in managing Azure SQL databases.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to technical excellence.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative environment.
