In this fully remote, worldwide opportunity based out of Germany, you will take ownership of monthly and yearly financial statements within a dynamic group structure while reporting directly to our Function Lead Accounting.

Overview

We need an experienced finance professional who thrives in a collaborative, remote-first environment. You will play a vital role in our corporate group consisting of eight companies, keeping our financial reporting accurate, compliant, and efficient.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the independent creation of monthly and yearly financial statements under HGB standards, handling fixed assets, account reconciliations, and audit-proof documentation.
Prepare and review VAT returns to ensure timely submissions within a broader European context.
Actively participate in group consolidation across eight entities, running intercompany reconciliations and partnering closely with our controlling department.
Execute regular payment runs, assist with external audits, and help continuously optimize our financial processes.

Requirements

Strong background in accounting with proven expertise in HGB financial statement preparation.
Hands-on experience with VAT returns, intercompany reconciliations, and group consolidations.
A meticulous eye for detail combined with strong communication skills in a remote work setting.
Fluent proficiency in German and English.
