We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join micro1 and take complete ownership of our general ledger and month-end close processes. You will sit right at the heart of our financial reporting function, making sure our books are spotless and our data empowers leaders to make confident choices every single day.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the end-to-end month-end close process by creating and posting journal entries, accruals, and necessary adjustments.
Keep the general ledger accurate and reconciled, tracking down and fixing any discrepancies quickly.
Draft monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements that strictly follow GAAP standards.
Perform thorough balance sheet reconciliations so every account is fully documented and backed up.
Help drive external audits by pulling together schedules and requested documentation.
Streamline our close procedures to cut down cycle times and boost daily accuracy.
Collaborate closely with leadership to keep all financial information audit-ready and decision-ready.
Strengthen internal controls across our financial reporting cycle.

Requirements

You bring extensive experience in accounting, a deep understanding of GAAP principles, and a strong track record of managing month-end closes independently. Strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate financial insights clearly to non-financial leaders will make you successful in this role. Working in a fast-paced remote environment requires self-discipline, great time management, and proactive communication.
