Key Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with our Engineering, Product, and Platform teams to integrate robust security practices throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
Design and implement security controls for our new cloud-native architecture, ensuring resilience against evolving threats.
Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing to identify and remediate potential weaknesses.
Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and guidelines that align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
Actively participate in security incident response, helping to investigate, contain, and resolve security events efficiently.
Promote a strong security culture across the organization through training and awareness programs.
Evaluate and recommend new security technologies and tools to enhance our overall security posture.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Security Engineer or in a similar security-focused role, demonstrating a solid understanding of application, infrastructure, and cloud security principles.
Strong familiarity with modern cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and securing cloud environments.
Hands-on experience with secure coding practices and security testing methodologies.
Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language (e.g., Python, Go, Java) for automation and security tool development.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical security issues.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams.
A proactive mindset, with a continuous desire to learn and adapt to new security challenges.
