You'll be instrumental in developing robust Ruby scripts and applications that directly support our business objectives, working closely with various teams to bring ideas to life.

Key Responsibilities

Engage with product managers and other teams to thoroughly understand project requirements, then translate these into effective Ruby scripts and applications.
Craft beautiful, maintainable, and highly efficient code using both Ruby and Ruby on Rails.
Build engaging front-end components utilizing Vue.js or similar modern JavaScript frameworks.
Handle the deployment and ongoing management of applications on the Heroku platform.
Uphold Git management best practices for seamless version control and strong team collaboration.
Design and maintain SASS/CSS stylesheets, ensuring our user interfaces are always consistent and visually appealing.
Implement common software engineering design patterns, guaranteeing high quality and scalable solutions.
Actively participate in code reviews, offering thoughtful and constructive feedback to your colleagues.
Help shape and improve our development processes and methodologies.
Keep a close eye on industry trends and the latest advancements in Ruby scripting and related technologies, bringing fresh ideas to the table.

Requirements

A minimum of 1 year of professional experience in Ruby scripting and development.
Demonstrated strong proficiency with Ruby and Ruby on Rails.
Hands-on experience with front-end JavaScript frameworks, such as Vue.js or similar tools.
Familiarity with deploying applications to platforms like Heroku.
Experience applying Git management best practices for version control.
Knowledge of creating and maintaining SASS/CSS stylesheets.
An understanding of common software engineering design patterns.
