Key Responsibilities

In this role, your daily contributions will directly impact the development of advanced AI. You will have several core responsibilities:

Guide research and engineering teams to fill knowledge gaps in retail merchandising, category management, and operations reasoning.
Design challenging, domain-relevant retail tasks and craft accurate, well-reasoned solutions rooted in practical retail experience.
Evaluate AI model outputs using structured rubrics, providing clear, written feedback on their correctness, judgment, and quality of reasoning.
Develop and refine evaluation guidelines and scoring rubrics specifically for retail tasks.
Collaborate closely with other subject matter experts to ensure consistency and accuracy in the training data provided to AI models.

Requirements

To thrive in this exciting role, we are looking for a candidate with a specific professional background. Here is what you will need:

8+ years of dedicated professional experience in retail. This experience should be in areas such as merchandising, category management, retail operations, or buying/planning.
Your experience must come from a recognized, top-tier organization.
A proven ability to break down complex retail concepts into understandable components for non-retail experts.
Exceptional written communication skills for designing tasks, writing solutions, and providing detailed feedback.
A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy when evaluating AI outputs.
The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fully remote, global team environment.
