Overview

As our Credentialing Coordinator, you will take ownership of the entire credentialing and onboarding lifecycle for Tribeca Pediatrics providers. Your efforts will guarantee that we always stay compliant with strict regulatory standards and internal company policies. From gathering primary source verifications to keeping our databases updated, your organizational wizardry will keep our clinical operations humming along without a hitch. Please note that this is a fully remote position exclusively open to residents of Alabama, and while our team spans the globe, this specific seat requires you to be based in the Yellowhammer State.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the go-to person for all provider questions related to credentialing and initial onboarding steps.
• Build comprehensive provider profiles and accurately input data into our credentialing databases and EMR systems.
• Verify critical provider credentials such as medical education, residency training, active state licensure, and board certifications.
• Monitor expiration timelines for all licenses and certifications to guarantee continuous and timely renewals.
• Manage and update provider CAQH profiles, AMA profiles, and run NPDB continuous queries.
• Coordinate pre-hire requirements including reference checks, intake paperwork, and background screenings.
• Handle insurance contracts and maintain open lines of communication with both payor networks and internal provider teams.

Requirements

Proven experience working in healthcare credentialing, provider enrollment, or a closely related administrative role.
Strong familiarity with CAQH, NPDB, and standard medical credentialing workflows.
Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills to track overlapping deadlines.
Clear communication skills with a friendly, professional approach to supporting clinical staff.
A quiet home office setup with reliable internet access, residing anywhere within the state of Alabama.
