As a Regional Trainer, you will be at the forefront of this transformation, building the capabilities of our community business partners and sales teams to expand our reach and deepen our impact.

Key Responsibilities: Cultivating Growth and Capability

  • Strategic Training Delivery: Design and deliver impactful capability-building and business intervention training programs specifically tailored for our community business partners. Your efforts will directly translate into enhanced business growth and improved performance across our network.
  • Needs Assessment Expertise: Conduct thorough training needs assessments to precisely identify skill gaps and development opportunities, ensuring our training solutions are always relevant and effective.
  • Collaborative Design: Work closely with management and key stakeholders to develop comprehensive training solutions that are meticulously aligned with Lumos' overarching business objectives and strategic goals.
  • Curriculum Development & Iteration: Take ownership of developing and continuously updating training curricula, engaging learning materials, and intuitive facilitator guides, ensuring content remains fresh, accurate, and impactful.
  • Engaging Facilitation: Lead dynamic, interactive, and highly impactful training sessions. You will leverage effective adult learning methodologies to ensure maximum knowledge retention and skill transfer.
  • Logistical Excellence: Seamlessly coordinate all training logistics, including precise scheduling, appropriate venue arrangements, clear participant communication, and the timely preparation of all necessary training materials.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with our sales team, fostering a supportive environment that encourages continuous learning and drives sustained performance improvement.
  • Post-Training Support & Coaching: Provide crucial post-training support by monitoring trainees, offering valuable on-the-job coaching, mentoring, and performance support to guarantee the effective application of newly acquired knowledge and skills.
  • Field Support & Reinforcement: Conduct periodic field visits to directly support trainees, assess their performance in real-world scenarios, and reinforce key training outcomes.
  • Technology Adoption Champion: Ensure 100% adoption and effective utilization of technology-enabled work tools by all trade partners, maximizing efficiency and operational effectiveness.
  • Performance Monitoring & Achievement: Diligently track, monitor, and achieve assigned training Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and performance targets, demonstrating measurable success.
  • Evaluation & Improvement: Systematically evaluate the effectiveness and overall impact of training programs, providing insightful recommendations for continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Accurate Documentation: Maintain meticulous training records, attendance reports, assessment results, and other essential learning documentation for compliance and analysis.
  • Continuous Learning Advocate: Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging learning technologies, constantly seeking ways to enhance and evolve Lumos' training programs.

Who We Are Looking For: Your Profile

We are searching for a highly motivated individual who combines expertise in training with a genuine commitment to our mission. If you meet the following requirements, we encourage you to apply:

  • Educational Background: Possess an HND or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Education, Marketing, or a closely related field.
  • Extensive Experience: Bring a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in training, learning and development, sales capability enhancement, or community/business partner development.
  • Exceptional Communication: Demonstrate strong facilitation, presentation, and communication skills, capable of engaging diverse audiences.
  • Stakeholder Management: Exhibit excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities, crucial for fostering collaborative environments.
  • Content & Delivery Prowess: Proven experience in developing compelling training content and delivering both engaging classroom and practical field-based training sessions.
  • Analytical Acumen: Possess strong analytical, reporting, and organizational skills, enabling data-driven insights and efficient program management.
  • Tech Proficiency: Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and adept at utilizing digital learning or productivity tools to enhance training delivery and management.
  • Independent & Goal-Oriented: Demonstrate the ability to work independently, effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and consistently meet challenging performance targets.
  • Travel Readiness: A willingness to travel frequently is essential to provide direct support to trainees and trade partners across various business locations following the Training Academy.
