Horkey International Services Limited, a prominent leader in dredging, corrosion control, and marine support services, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join their professional team. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be the backbone of commercial and cost-related activities, ensuring that complex engineering projects are delivered within budget while adhering to stringent industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
• Monitor project expenditures and deliver detailed cost reports and forecasts.
• Administer construction contracts and manage tender processes, including bid evaluations.
• Evaluate contractor payment applications and manage project variations and claims.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to implement value engineering strategies.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant Nigerian construction laws.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's Degree (B.Sc.) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Quantity Surveying. Professional registration with NIQS or QSRBN is highly preferred.
• Experience: 5–10 years of proven experience in cost management, preferably within the oil & gas, marine, or infrastructure sectors.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in cost estimation software (e.g., CostX, CCS Candy, WinQS) and Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with FIDIC contracts is essential.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional numerical accuracy, strong negotiation abilities, and the capacity to thrive in a high-pressure, multidisciplinary environment.
