Role Overview
The Quality Control Officer will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our production output consistently meets the rigorous standards of quality and excellence that our clients expect. You will be responsible for overseeing the integrity of our products from raw material intake to the final delivery stage, ensuring compliance with ISO management procedures and company benchmarks.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
- Actively monitor production processes to ensure strict compliance with established quality standards.
- Perform laboratory and dimensional testing as necessary to verify product specifications.
- Investigate any quality defects, providing detailed root-cause analysis and actionable recommendations.
- Maintain meticulous records and prepare detailed inspection reports.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering and Production teams to drive continuous improvement and process optimization.
- Support both internal and external quality audits to maintain our operational certifications.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Engineering, Metallurgy, Chemistry, or a closely related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on professional experience in a quality assurance role.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is highly preferred; experience specifically within the steel sector is considered a significant advantage.
- Strong analytical mindset and an eye for precision.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
