The Role
As the Quality Control Manager, you will be the backbone of our assembly operations. You will be responsible for ensuring that every vehicle leaving our factory floor meets our rigorous specifications. Your mandate will involve:
- Quality Leadership: Spearheading quality strategies, managing the QC team, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Assembly Oversight: Implementing strict in-process inspections from chassis assembly to final finishing.
- Defect Management: Utilizing advanced methodologies like 8D, Pareto Analysis, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to drive corrective and preventive actions.
- Performance Monitoring: Tracking critical metrics such as First Pass Yield (FPY), Rework Rate, and Defect Per Vehicle (DPV).
- Compliance & Audits: Ensuring all regulatory and internal safety standards are exceeded.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or Industrial Engineering.
- Experience: 5–10 years of experience in automobile assembly or manufacturing, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory position.
- Expertise: In-depth knowledge of CKD/SKD assembly processes, automotive electrical/mechanical systems, and Lean/Six Sigma principles.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to mentor and lead a technical team.
