The Role

As the QHSE Lead, you will be the cornerstone of our safety and quality culture. You will be responsible for the implementation and coordination of all Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) systems. Your role is vital in ensuring that our operational excellence is backed by rigorous QMS and HSE standards, keeping our workforce safe and our processes compliant with international certifications.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the implementation of QHSE management systems and project-specific safety plans.
Coordinate with departmental heads to facilitate safety meetings, waste management, and risk assessments.
Act as the primary Management Representative, liaising with regulatory bodies and certification organizations.
Ensure the maintenance and continuous improvement of ISO IMS certifications (9001, 14001, and 45001).
Conduct regular site inspections, incident investigations, and fire drills to mitigate hazards.
Provide technical support for tendering processes by preparing comprehensive QHSE documentation.
Oversee vendor registration and bi-annual performance evaluations.
Maintain detailed HSE statistical records and provide weekly reports on office and site activities.
Develop and deliver training and induction programs to ensure a safety-first mindset across all personnel.

Qualifications

A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
5 to 10 years of professional experience in a QHSE role, preferably within the engineering or oil and gas industry.
Proven ability to manage ISO standards and audit processes.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
