About the Role
As a QA / QC Inspector at MTES, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our projects meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Working within the demanding Oil & Gas, Construction, and Engineering Design sectors, you will leverage your extensive technical expertise to oversee critical welding, inspection, and documentation processes.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Mechanical background strongly preferred).
- Experience: 5 to 10+ years of hands-on experience in QA/QC roles specifically within Oil & Gas and/or Pipeline projects.
- Technical Knowledge: Proven, demonstrable experience in SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding) and GTAW (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding) processes.
Mandatory Certifications
- CSWIP 3.1 or 3.2 certification
- ASNT NDT Level II (Preferred)
- API 570 / API 1104 certifications (Preferred)
Required Skills & Knowledge
- In-depth understanding of Inspection & Test Plans (ITP)
- Comprehensive welding inspection and meticulous documentation practices
- Precise dimensional checks and technical reporting
- Familiarity with standard quality control procedures
- Solid working knowledge of major industry codes and standards (ASME, API, ISO)
