We are searching for a hands-on QA Engineer proficient in both manual and automated testing, spanning backend APIs and frontend UIs. You will test complete end-to-end processes that connect various Qu products. Think of an order starting in a Point of Sale (POS) system or through web ordering, then seamlessly progressing to the kitchen display. You will ensure every scenario is thoroughly tested at the appropriate level, from granular API checks to comprehensive end-to-end and manual validations. You will also operate within Qu DLC, our AI-first delivery lifecycle, where AI agents refine stories, propose test cases, and write tests even before the code is finalized. People then make key decisions at review gates, based on evidence provided.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans for both backend APIs and frontend UIs.
Create and maintain robust automated test suites to ensure reliable product performance.
Perform thorough manual testing to uncover nuanced issues and ensure exceptional user experience.
Identify, meticulously document, and track software defects through to resolution.
Collaborate closely with development teams, product managers, and other QA engineers to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
Ensure broad test coverage across various Qu products and end-to-end workflows.
Participate actively in Qu DLC, our AI-first delivery lifecycle, leveraging AI insights for test case generation.
Contribute to enhancing our existing QA processes, tools, and best practices.
Validate fixes and perform regression testing to maintain product stability.

Requirements

Demonstrated strength in both manual and automated testing methodologies.
Proven experience testing backend APIs and services.
Proficiency in testing dynamic frontend UIs across different platforms.
Solid understanding of end-to-end testing principles and execution.
A keen eye for detail and strong problem-solving capabilities.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively with diverse teams.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, evolving technology environment.
Familiarity with test management tools and bug tracking systems.
