Key Responsibilities

As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with Lavender, you will be instrumental in delivering exceptional remote mental healthcare. Your daily activities will involve:

Conducting comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and developing personalized treatment plans for a diverse client population in Louisiana.
Providing medication management, including prescribing, monitoring, and adjusting psychotropic medications in accordance with state and federal regulations.
Collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic and integrated client care.
Educating clients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and medication adherence.
Maintaining accurate, timely, and thorough electronic health records (EHRs).
Adhering to all ethical guidelines, professional standards, and best practices in telehealth.
Engaging in continuous professional development to stay current with advances in psychiatric care.

Requirements

To thrive in this role, we are looking for a professional who meets the following criteria:

Current, unrestricted licensure as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) in the state of Louisiana.
Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited nursing program with a specialization in psychiatric mental health.
Demonstrated clinical experience in assessing, diagnosing, and treating a wide range of psychiatric conditions.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, essential for effective remote client engagement and team collaboration.
Comfort and proficiency with telehealth technology and electronic health record systems.
