About the Role
As our Project Manager, you will be the central figure responsible for keeping projects on time, within budget, and aligned with our uncompromising quality standards. You will bridge the gap between strategic development goals and on-the-ground execution, collaborating closely with architects, engineers, procurement officers, and contractors.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive construction plans and schedules to guarantee timely completion.
- Coordinate with procurement, architectural, and engineering teams to align project goals.
- Oversee daily construction activities and manage subcontractors, site workers, and suppliers for maximum productivity.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, enforce rigorous health, safety, and environmental regulations, and ensure strict compliance with building codes and zoning laws.
- Perform quality checks on materials and workmanship to prevent defects and minimize costly rework.
- Act as the primary liaison between developers, contractors, and senior management, providing regular progress updates.
- Proactively identify construction risks, resolve conflicts, and adapt swiftly to unforeseen challenges such as supply chain disruptions or weather delays.
- Oversee final inspections, project handovers, and post-construction warranty claims.
Requirements & Qualifications
To thrive in this role, you must bring a robust background in construction management, specifically within the real estate sector. Our ideal candidate possesses:
- A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 7-8 years of hands-on experience in construction management and real estate development.
- Mandatory real estate experience and proven success in managing building construction and infrastructure projects.
- Mandatory COREN certification.
- Strong expertise in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration.
- Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, AutoCAD, and the Microsoft Office Suite (an added advantage).
- Project management certifications will be considered a strong plus.
- Exceptional leadership, negotiation, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
