Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and multi-specialty reviews for the Medical Group by validating CPT, ICD-10, modifiers, and HCPCS codes using official guidelines and CMS standards.
• Evaluate work across all department coders and compile clear, comprehensive summaries of your findings.
• Design and deliver targeted training sessions to help coders tackle identified areas for improvement.
• Review clinical documentation to accurately code charges for professional billing.
• Spot process gaps, troubleshoot coding hurdles, and contribute to meaningful operational improvements.
• Collaborate with the team to build effective edits that stop coding denials in their tracks.
• Help shape a standardized, smooth process for front-end coding operations.

Requirements

• Strong foundational knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and official coding guidelines.
• Demonstrated experience in professional billing coding, auditing, and multi-specialty chart reviews.
• Familiarity with CMS guidelines and denial prevention strategies.
