The Role
As a Production Supervisor, you will be the backbone of the production floor. You will be responsible for overseeing daily activities, managing personnel, and ensuring that products are delivered on time without compromising on quality. The ideal candidate will balance technical oversight with strong leadership, fostering a culture of productivity and strict adherence to safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Operations Management: Implement production schedules, monitor workflows, and optimize processes to ensure high operational efficiency.
- Team Leadership: Coordinate shifts, provide training on safety and operational procedures, and promote a collaborative team environment.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain rigorous compliance with food safety and hygiene standards through routine inspections and corrective actions.
- Inventory & Reporting: Manage raw materials, minimize waste, and provide management with accurate, timely production reports.
Qualifications & Experience
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following:
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree, HND, or OND in Food Science, Production Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 2–5 years of proven experience in production or manufacturing supervision, specifically within the bakery, restaurant, or food production industry.
- Professionalism: Ability to work under pressure, solve complex problems, and communicate effectively with diverse teams.
- Location: Applicants must reside in Calabar.
