About the Role
As our Production Manager, you will be at the heart of our manufacturing operations, overseeing day-to-day activities on the production floor. You will ensure that workers consistently meet hourly and daily output quotas while maintaining the highest standards of safety, hygiene, and product quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations on the production floor, ensuring workers meet output targets.
- Manage production targets, raw materials, manpower, machinery, quality, and overall production costs.
- Track raw material usage and finished goods levels to ensure uninterrupted production line flow.
- Drive waste reduction, improve production efficiency, and minimize machine downtime.
- Collaborate effectively with Quality Control, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Procurement teams.
- Ensure strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP, and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards.
Key Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: B.Sc. or HND in Food Science, Engineering, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in FMCG or food manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Expertise: Strong knowledge of food production processes, hygiene protocols, GMP, and HACCP.
- Skills: Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, reporting, and cost-management abilities.
