We're a team united by a deep passion and a clear mission to make gender-affirming hormone therapy accessible to every trans person across the United States. This isn't just a job; it's a heartfelt commitment. We are a trans-founded company, driven by the profound personal experiences of those we serve, and we seek teammates who share this deep care and dedication. Join us, and you'll discover a truly unique opportunity to contribute meaningful good to the world, all while thriving in an affirming, culturally inclusive, and purpose-filled environment.

Every piece of code you help bring to life will directly enhance the healthcare journey for trans individuals. This is a mid-level role, ideal for someone who thrives in high-velocity, collaborative environments. Your days will involve meticulously refining the product backlog, guiding cross-functional teams through complex development cycles, and serving as an empathetic, high-EQ connector. You'll skillfully navigate any delivery friction and team dynamics with composure, always prioritizing getting it right over simply being right. This is a fully remote, worldwide opportunity, allowing you to contribute to our vital mission from anywhere.

  • Proactively refine and manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment with overall company goals and user needs.
  • Guide and empower cross-functional development teams through the entire execution lifecycle, from concept to deployment.
  • Serve as a key connector, fostering seamless communication between stakeholders, design, and engineering teams.
  • Utilize your strong emotional intelligence to navigate team dynamics and resolve delivery friction with clarity and poise.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement, always striving for seamless execution and optimal product outcomes.
  • Prioritize thoroughness and accuracy in all decisions, ensuring features genuinely improve the experience for our members.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Product Owner in a fast-paced environment.
  • A deep understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
  • Exceptional ability to translate strategic business objectives into clear, well-defined user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills to effectively guide teams and manage expectations.
  • Demonstrated capability to manage complex projects, mitigate risks, and drive successful product delivery.
  • A high degree of emotional intelligence and the ability to foster positive team dynamics.
  • Unwavering commitment to Plume's mission of transforming healthcare for trans lives.
  • Comfort working in a fully remote, distributed team setting.

What You'll Gain

  • The profound satisfaction of contributing to a mission-driven company that makes a real, tangible difference in people's lives.
  • A unique opportunity to do well by doing good, working on impactful projects every single day.
  • A supportive, affirming, and culturally inclusive work environment where your contributions are valued and celebrated.
  • The chance to grow your skills in a high-velocity, collaborative setting, surrounded by passionate and dedicated teammates.
  • Be part of a truly special team that is actively reshaping healthcare for the better.
